News on HS2 in Bucks & Oxfordshire

HS2 Notification: North Chilterns area update, July 2021

Our works to build the railway are underway in the North Chilterns area. Over the next couple of months, you can expect to see works in the local area including:

Utility works including trial holes;

Water main protection works on the A413 south of Wendover – July/August;

Security gatehouse development work in Great Missenden;

Drainage works with microbore tunnel at Great Missenden;

Haul road progression across the area after installation of crossing points;

Several breaks from highway in the area to allow for our site access – these will include the need for some short duration traffic management;

Batching plant delivery to Wendover Green Tunnel compound and installation;

Water management works in the form of drainage ponds throughout the area.
