HS2 work notification: Great Missenden, Link Road one-way system & Frith Hill overnight road closures, starting October 2019

As part of our works to improve two roundabouts on the A413 in Great Missenden we will need to put some traffic management measures in place, starting from 14 October to February 2020. The work will be carried out in phases. During these periods we will need to:

  • put a one-way system in place on Link Road, closing the lane running from the A413 onto the High Street.
  • undertake full road closures overnight on Frith Hill road.
  • These traffic management measures are essential to carry out the work safely and we’ll remove them when they are not required. You can find more details on the location, dates and times of these closures in our notification .

The traffic management measures will allow us to:

  • Construct the haul road and bell mouth onto the A413
  • Widen the Frith Hill exit onto the A413 towards Amersham. This will allow for a dedicated left-hand turn onto the A413 roundabout.
  • Widen Link Road and the exit on to the A413 towards Wendover. This will allow for a dedicated left-hand turn from Link Road onto the A413 roundabout.
  • Please contact us if you want to find out more.
