The first strategic award to be made from the HS2 Community &amp; Environment Fund (CEF) was announced by the HS2 Minister Nusrat Ghani today on a visit to Wendover Woods near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire.The £450,000 grant for the Wendover Woods Recreational Development project will help deliver a new woodland hub for visitors to use, with an adventure trail, café and parking for 600 visitors at Wendover Woods. The grant will be received by Forest Enterprise England.
